1. Who we are

ChildmindPro Ltd ("we", "us") is the data controller for personal data processed through this website and the ChildmindPro platform. We are registered in England & Wales and based in the United Kingdom.

2. What data we collect

Account data (name, email, business details), business records you enter (children, parents, financial records), payment data (handled by Stripe), and basic analytics data (cookies, device/browser info).

3. Lawful basis

We process data under: contract (to provide the service), legitimate interests (service improvement, security), legal obligation (tax/accounting laws), and consent (marketing emails).

4. Data about children

As a childminder you are the data controller for child and family data you enter; we are a data processor acting on your instructions under a data processing agreement included in our Terms.

5. Where we store data

All customer data is stored on UK-located servers operated by our infrastructure provider. We do not transfer personal data outside the UK/EEA without appropriate safeguards.

6. How long we keep data

Active account data is kept while your subscription is active. After cancellation we keep records for 7 years to meet HMRC retention requirements, then permanently delete them. You may request earlier deletion subject to legal requirements.

7. Your rights

Under UK GDPR you have the right to access, rectify, erase, restrict, port and object. Email support@childmindpro.co.uk to exercise these rights. You can also complain to the ICO (ico.org.uk).

8. Cookies

We use strictly necessary cookies to keep you logged in, and optional analytics cookies (only with consent) to understand usage.
